Treasures of inventiveness
T-shaped lever corkscrew, with double blade ..... the cork extraction systems are numerous and surprising. What inventiveness also for the"mechanisms"! Rack, inclined ring, helical, screw handle, bell head, compound lever mechanism ... Over time - since the 18th century, when the sale of wine in bottles was authorized - ingenious minds have filed hundreds of patents for corkscrew designs. Even those of artisanal origin, their careful manufacture demonstrates the attention to the details of the design:the choice and adjustment of the materials - ebony, horn, steel, brass ... - the stem has worked delicately in an oblique shape up to the spindle , solid mandrel, round mandrel, cutting coils, centered or non-centered spiral drill ...

Each Collector is unique ...

The old corkscrews are in working order. Some models may have mechanical or surface imperfections. Showine cannot be held responsible for this. Therefore, it is not possible to return these items, whatever the defects. Thanks for understanding

Over time, oxidation of the metal can become excessively present. To overcome this, traditional methods are still effective:
emery cloth, steel wool, paint, beeswax etc ...
